Ron Gourlay: "Two More Signings And We Are Set"

The Chief executive of Chelsea Football Club Ron Gourlay has reiterated the club's ambition to remain at the top level and also stated that the club are still in the market for at least two more signins. Speaking to the media, Mr. Gourlay noted that "we are still in the market for one or two players and if the right player becomes available at the right time we will talk about" He also assured the fans that in the " next couple of weeks" the club will be active in the transfer window.

I believe this would be a good piece of news to all the fans as the club is seriously putting measures in place to strengthen the team. It is also more appealing that we are trying to wrap up every deal early enough for the manager to draw his plans before the start of the season. Two areas of concern for the club has been the right-back option as well as an attacking option. Rumours in the French and British media indicate Chelsea are seriously chasing Spanish right-back Cesar Azpilicueta, who currently plays for Olympic Marseille. The Metro has even reported that a £6M bid has already been launched.

Also, the club has long been linked to Porto/Brazilian explosive forward Hulk and recently, Victor Moses and Edinson Cavani.

Well, we are all watching closely how the news develops and trust Chelseafc360 to give you the latest update on all Chelsea transfers. So left to you, which 2 players will you want the club to bring in? Please Messi and Ronaldo are out.

Thanks and KTBFFH!

  3. I won't be surprise to see azuplicita and Victor Moses at Chelsea eventually. They have the advantages compare to other transfer prospects.

  5. It will now be istoristiti opportunity to bring to our club HULK urgently, because on that side we have a problem in the penetration of counter attacks and iAs in the implementation of the attacks and the chances and opportunities to score. Priority must be Hulk and Robert Lewandowski in the attack during the only free agents on the market that are worth any money invested in them as a quality quarterback. And do not be scum club moon unt Ashley Cole to give under any circumstances, because they do it on purpose to our weakened on all sides! Not accidentally noni scum club! KTBFFH!

  6. we need a partner straiker to Torres... azpilicueta would also be a nice choice at the right back but what about Ivanivic? Ferreira? Hutchibson?

  7. IMHO,I think Hulk is being overhyped cos I've yet to see him make any impact @ d olympics. Now, we don't want anoda Kezman on hands,do we? I'd rather plump 4 Falcao or Demba Ba as striker and Azpilicueta,Debuchy or Piszcek as RB.

  8. We need HULK, he can play at wing, we also need CECAR AZPILICUETA, he is also good at right-back.

  9. We seriously need HULK, he can play at wing, and he has acceleration and agility for the gaol which Torres lack, we also need CECAR AZPILICUETA for the right-back to replace Bossingwa.

  10. Hulk is a little over-rated. Great player, but not as good as he's made out to be. Need another Striker since Torres may well fail in his role again - he hasn't proven himself in the Premier League with Chelsea. Left to me, I'd be chasing Aguero - especially if City grab RVP.

  11. right back is one position that chelsea will strengthen. maicon was very much linked but this deal has fallen off now. Cecar azpilicueta looks more likely to happen.

second position i would like to cover is striker. names linked with chelsea are hulk, mosses, schrulle and cavani. interested thing about all these things is that all of them can play upfront as well as on the right wing as well. and this is what i think chelsea board is looking for. a cover for torres if he misfires or gets injured as well as a player who can operate on right wing. cavani basically doesn't play on right wing but he can play upfront with torres and on right if we play 4-3-3.
i would like to go for schrulle. a young, energetic, hard worker.
