5. “Mascarzard” linkup is brilliant.

Reaction: Walk In The Park
Goals from Fernando Torres, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard and Branislav Ivanovic were enough as Chelsea saw off Norwich 4-1 after Grant Holt's early strike gave the Canaries an early lead. Despite taking the lead early on, Norwich were never really favourites to go on to win the game and that was exactly the case as Chelsea scored 3 goals in the first half itself. A late strike from Ivanovic sealed an emphatic victory as Chelsea remain unbeaten and top of the Premier League table.

Match Report: Chelsea 4-1 Norwich

Chelsea continue their rampant form in the Premier League by easing past Norwich, 4-1 thanks to goals by Torres, Hazard, Ivanovic and Lampard after Holt got the opener.

Preview: Chelsea vs Norwich

Preview: Chelsea vs Norwich
After a string of good away results that has seen us beat our London rivals Arsenal and Champions League newbies Nordsjaelland, Chelsea finally return to Stamford Bridge to take on Norwich City. Norwich City the same side where we were fortunate enough to witness Juan Mata for the first time in a Chelsea blue. Mata scored that day in a 3-1 win coming on as a substitute.

Chelsea will go into this game hoping to bag their 5th straight win something they haven't achieved since 2010. On the other hand Norwich are enduring their worst start to a Premier League season. History suggests that Norwich don't travel that well to Stamford Bridge, losing on each of their last five visits and conceding a whopping 17 goals in the process, while managing just one of their own.

Reaction: Harder Than Expected

In the end it seemed like just another day in the office, but Chelsea were made to work hard by a spirited Nordsjaelland side who actually controlled the game better than Chelsea at times. Juan Mata made it 1-0 in the first half and it stayed that way till the 79th minute when David Luiz scored from a free-kick. However, the period between the first and second goal was a tense one for Chelsea fans as Nordsjaelland looked likely to score. But the floodgates opened once Luiz scored and both Mata and Ramires scored in quick succession to ensure all 3 points for Chelsea.

Match Report: Nordsjaelland 0-4 Chelsea

Luiz after a thunderous freekick
Chelsea marched to the top of their Champions League group with a rather unconvincing performance against the Danish Champions. Although the scoreline suggests a different story, the Danish side pretty much dominated the Chelsea side for most part of the game.

FC Nordsjaelland vs Chelsea: Champions League Preview

FC Nordsjaelland vs Chelsea: Champions League Preview
After an amazing victory over Arsenal last week, Chelsea know that they cannot afford to get complacent ahead of their visit to Denmark.
After letting go a 2 goal lead against Juventus, Chelsea find themselves 3rd in the group with Ukrainian Champions Shaktar acting as the group pace setters so far. On the other hand Danish Champions FC Nordsjaelland lost their first game in the Champions League 2-0 to Shaktar and find themselves bottom of the group. Although it may be too early to say but anything less than a win for Chelsea today could be a big blow in their quest to retain their Champions League crown.

What We Learned From Arsenal Match : 29.9.2012
12:45 GMT, Emirates Stadium... Arsenal v Chelsea. Halftime : 1-1. Full Time : 1-2. Lovely day at the Emirates for us. An all around fantastic performance from the Blues that kept us top of the league. There were many things to take away from the match :

1. John Terry is absolute class.
2. Juan Mata is still our key playmaker
3. Fernando Torres is back and firing.
4. Ramires-Mikel combination is great.
5. Can't afford to sit back after scoring.
6. Ashley Cole is in top form.

Match Report: Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea

Match Report: Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea
Roberto Di Matteo made only one change to the team that beat Stoke last week with John Terry replacing Gary Cahill in defence.

Chelsea XI: Cech; Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry, Cole; Ramires, Mikel; Mata, Oscar, Hazard; Torres.

Arsenal v/s Chelsea Preview: Battle for London Supremacy!

“London’s first London’s finest”, “London is ours” these are the 2 obvious chants you will get to hear when the two sides meet at Emirates on Saturday. The two clubs have long fought for the supremacy in London and although history favors Arsenal, Chelsea have managed to turn things around in the past decade.

Chelsea v/s Arsenal: Arsenal's Tactical Analysis

Chelsea vs Arsenal - Arsenal tactical analysis
Probable Lineup - Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Vito Mannone, Kieran Gibbs, Thomas Vermaelen, Per MertesackerCarl Jenkinson, Lukas Podolski, Abou Diaby, Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, Santiago Cazorla, Olivier Giroud

Arsenal have a strong defense which looks rather strange as they are used to having defensive vulnerabilities. They have conceded the least number of goals in the Premier League along with Chelsea. The only weak point of the Arsenal defense are their flanks. Crosses are very common at the Arsenal box and they just keep coming in; but thanks to Mertesacker most of these corners are well dealt with.

Thoughts on Chelsea vs Stoke ~ Will

Thoughts on Chelsea vs Stoke

Well, we got the 3 points in the end. An Ashley Cole finish in the 86th minute was enough to give the blues 3 points after a really tight game. The finish was one that any striker would have been proud of, and was Ash's first goal since scoring the 8th in the 8-0 thrashing of Wigan in May 2010.

After Wednesday's 2-2 draw and the 0-0 draw against QPR last weekend, it was important for the blues to get back to winning ways, and sustain our position at the top of the league. Mikel, who received some harsh criticism from some 'fans' after Wednesday's mistake which led to the 2nd Juventus goal, was outstanding in the deep position, breaking down Stoke's attack, before distributing forwards to one of the front four. He even found the time to make a run into the box before having a very tame shot, but it was very unlike Mikel to be that far forward. I get the impression that he wanted to make amends for that mistake on Wednesday, and he most certainly did.

Tactical Analysis: Chelsea vs Stoke City

Tactical Analysis: Chelsea vs Stoke City
Chelsea played one of their best games this season, with intricate and beautiful football. They were however, shy on goal and could only scrap a late winner from Ashley Cole.

How Chelsea set up
At first look you can easily see that the penalty area was always crowded and this caused a lot of problems for the Stoke defense as they needed high levels of concentration, which finally broke in the 84th minute.

6 talking points from Chelsea vs Stoke City

6 talking points from Chelsea vs Stoke City
Chelsea were forced to fight hard against a resilient Stoke defense at the Bridge. The European Champions now sit comfortably on top of the table with 13 points. A vocal Stoke support were left disappointed but they themselves can take a lot of positives from this fixture.
So, what can Chelsea take away from this well deserved victory?

Reaction: Hard-Fought Victory

A late winner from Ashley Cole was enough for Chelsea to seal all 3 points against Stoke and retain top spot in the Premier League, but the game wasn't without it's moments and Chelsea had to work hard to carve out a win against a defence-minded Stoke.

Match Report: Chelsea 1-0 Stoke

Chelsea needed a last-ditch winner from Ashley Cole to secure victory against Stoke to secure all three points in an encounter that saw very few clear-cut chances created. Chelsea dominated possession for long spells of the game but didn't quite manage to break down Stoke till very late in the game.

Tactical Analysis – Chelsea vs Stoke

With ten points in the bag, Chelsea are sitting on the top of the table but it can all come crumbling down , as was seen last season. Despite a 2-2 draw against Juventus, Chelsea will be confident that they can walk away with 3 points against Stoke City, but it will not be easy.

Here’s my preferred formation

Preview: Chelsea v/s Stoke

Chelsea vs Stoke: Preview
Chelsea will go into this game as the only top 4 side playing on Saturday and will look to go four points clear of the top as the two Manchester clubs and Arsenal play on Sunday.

The last time these two sides met, Robbie Di Matteo recorded his first win as a Chelsea manager in the Premier League era with Didier Drogba also completing a milestone of 100 goals that day.
