Will someone please tell Lukaku to Put up or SHUT UP! |
"I COULD’T SEE MYSELF STAYING AT CHELSEA. I SACRIFICED A YEAR OF MY CAREER WITH THEM AND DIDN’T WANT TO PUT UP WITH IT ANY MORE. I DECIDED IN MARCH I WANTED TO GO OUT ON LOAN, AND TOLD MY AGENT TO FIND ME A CLUB. I AM RELIEVED TO HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION. ON THE FIRST DAY OF PRE-SEASON I TOLD THE MANAGER I WANTED TO LEAVE. ROBERTO DI MATTEO TOLD ME I OUGHT TO THINK ABOUT CHELSEA AS THERE WEREN’T GOING TO BE MANY OTHER STRIKER THIS SEASON, BUT THIS IS THE TIME FOR ME TO THINK ABOUT MYSELF. I GOT SICK OF WATCHING FROM THE BENCH. I JUST PLAYED 12 GAMES AND WHEN I WAS PLAYING WEL, THEY WOULD TAKE ME OFF. I LOST MY HUNGER FOR THE GAME OVER THE PAST YEAR. I WON’T BEAT ABOUT THE BUSH-MY SEASON AT CHELSEA WENT VERY BADLY. AS REGARDS GETTING MINUTES ON THE PITCH, I WASTED MY TIME. LAST SEASON I WAS IN THE RESERVES ALONGSIDE LAD WHO’D BARELY TURNED 15 AND I ASKED MYSELF WHAT I WAS DOING THERE. IT’S GOOD FOR MY DEVELOPMENT TO LEAVE LONDON. I CAN BOUNCE BACK AT MID-TABLE CLUB.”
So there it is, Lukaku at it again after publicly coming out
after our cup triumph last season that he did not celebrate because he was not
part of the winning team. Whiles players like Josh and the rest of our boys who
were on loan declared their delight at our glory, Lukaku even went on to say
when Kalou decided to put the trophy on his lap, he declined. One thing which
makes this annoying is that he said he was a Chelsea fan before joining us but
it seems the reverse is the case. But to be frank with ourselves do you think
Lukaku after seeing what his capable of in the League Cup and a couple league
matches last season, do you think he deserved to have played more?
As a strong advocate of giving the youth a chance, I do not
think Lukaku should have started ahead of any of our strikers in that troubled
and roller coaster season we had. The fisrt match I watched him against Norwich
when he and Mata made their debut, it was clear that he was unfinished article
who deserves to be polished. I remember when Mata scored his goal he stood
there complaining he should have been given the pass by Mata. There and then I realized
what a kid and ego we have in our hands. His first touch and ball control is
below average and therefore there was nothing wrong with him polishing it at
the reserves among his colleague teenagers but look at how he has described one
of them (Islam Feruz). If you have watched the youth team, you could see Islam
is even better than Lukaku and he can make the jump to the first team faster
than the Prima Donna Lukaku.
Players like Ryan Bertrand and Daniel Sturridge have all
earned their places in the team meritoriously and anyone should do likewise. Chelsea
should not reduce its standard in order to accommodate any youngster. Josh McCrean
has been in the first team and played Champions League yet he is not finding it
easy to make the cut. One thing I like about Josh whom I highly regard to be
our future captain is about his positive mentality about the club. Lukaku
should begin to question himself why after spending about 18 million pounds on
him he finds himself on loan. He is one of the most overated youngsters in the
world and I believe if Chelsea were given the opportunity once again, they
would not sign him. We could have easily doubled the figure and bought Sergio
Aguero at the time since he was also only 22 years and it could have proven to
be real value for money. If Lukaku feels at his level, he is riped for a place
in the Chelsea first team then I would be shocked at him.
Finally, Chelsea should be able to regulate the players and
the interviews they conduct. I believe before any player grants special
interviews, he needs the approval form the club and proper sanctions should be meted
out to irresponsible media outburst like this. Lukaku from his interview has
shown his luck of maturity before the cameras and he and the likes must be
tamed.
Might as well sell him people call him the new drogba but quite frankly I don't see it get hulk instead and sell lukaku. Can get at least 15-20 mill for lukaku which should go towards January transfer window
ReplyDeleteHe can't even control the ball
ReplyDeletelukaku a bad news.
ReplyDeleteLike u said he should shut up his mouth and just grow up
ReplyDeletei Knew it'll come to this. his first match showed me he's not matured yet to compete for a striking role in chelsea. so Instead Of making the same mistake of regreting not buying Aguero i think we have a better option ..cavani will help!
ReplyDeleteI got my own twitter account wrong @sethaadusei
ReplyDeleteDnt mind the young lad, he suddenly wanted to turn himself to Baloteli beign rebelious to d best team in d world. I think loan is better 4 him atleast 4years on loan b4 then, Torres would have been haging his golden boot if not on the playing field. He's jst STUPID!!!
ReplyDeleteThe coward just wasted chelsea's money.
ReplyDeleteincase lukaku is not aware let him that the likes of essien, drogba etc spent almost 2 seasons on bench before getting a regular playing time so if he cant wait, then, he can leave
ReplyDeleteLukaku scored and played well in a high level game against belgium and netherlands and the players of netherlands are better then chelsea so he lukaku is good enough for chelsea
ReplyDeleteLukaku has the right to speak up after his season at Chelsea. He is a very talented player, but he needs to play every week at a high level not between youngsters. He might be young, but he is an international with already some club and individual honours on his record. His loan to WBA is a good cause for himself AND Chelsea to play more games in English Premier League. It's a lot better for him to develop his skills and experience!
ReplyDeleteChelsea should already have loaned Lukaku to another club last year, like they did with Belgian international Kevin DeBruyne this year to Werder Bremen.
The author of this article is a fool and should shut up but instead think twice before making himself rediculous!
ITS NOT FOOLISH! ITS TRUE!!!!!!! Whatever CFC pain freaking 20m+ for him and trusted him and kept him and gave him exposure. It is a bit of CFC's fault but Lukaku needs to keep quiet not blast his team here and there. Ryan, Josh, Sturridge or even Drogba when he first cam never did that.
DeleteNo doubt Lukaku is a great lad but he does needs to grow up!!
“Launched a scathing attack on Chelsea"?
ReplyDelete"Lukaku has descended heavily on the club"?...Where? He's just stating the obvious. "Immature"? You mean the readers surely?
That is what you get when you downgrade in Clubs, hehehehe ;) Now I hope he rocks everybody their socks off at West Brom. But to be fair it is understandable. He wants to play and score goals. Especially because there is more at stake then just a club. After such a dry spell, Belgium wants to qualify for the world cup in 2014. And there is a stiff competition on the bench.
ReplyDeletehe was an anderlecht boy in the belgian competition. not the greatest c
ReplyDeletelub of belgium. Too slow for chelsea! waste off money
15 mio gone by the wind. How to waste money...
ReplyDeleteThe UK press has already the reputation of blowing thins up.
ReplyDeleteThey have to make a title that atracks poeple.
Lukaku said the truth about his feelings, and there is nothing bad on what he said.
To bad Courtois and De Bruyne are still under Chelsea contract, because after the support for Lukaku i see here, i wont be fan of Chelsea anymore.
I'm sorry for my bad English but after reading what Seth Adusei set, i had to react. What a fool!

ReplyDeleteAnderlecht not the greatest club of belgium? wtf did you saw who won the comp last year, ANDERLECHT, the year before 'AGAIN ANDERLECHT' pls if you know nothing about clubs, especcialy outside england pls just shut up dude !!!
Common fans we all love Lukaku but just accept the fact that he should not keep blasting his club here and there!
ReplyDeleteI think CFC360's writer, Seth always write suck controvercial articles. No doubt his work is great and what he said is obviously true. We are all angry everywhere. Lukaku should show some respect and he would be Drogba 2.0 in 4-5 years!
ReplyDeleteAs a Belgian I love Lukaku and Chelsea.
ReplyDeleteSo I am pretty neutral here and I have to say Lukaku has to learn to control his words a bit. He is a great talent and we all know including 360 and the press but he needs to you know control.
I am sure he will put up and he will be a success!
you stupid english people !
ReplyDeleteYour stupid press ruined the olympic games for everyone, and they still don't get it !
What lukaku showed last season wasn't good enough .. we all know .
He is to young ,i'ts the fault of the staff en himself .
And to all (or mostly) English people ,please stop thinking your country is the best ! Cause it isn't !
It was a honest reaction of Lukaku.
ReplyDeleteChelsea and it's fans who have problems with that are the ones that should grow up and deal with that.
Like we can all see from the outer: England is heading to curtail all natural freedoms, certainly that of free pronounciation of thought. If not by the government, we do it ourselves to others they seem to think :-)
This quote gives it all, actually not even worth to take it as an option (don't take it all to serious people, live is just a ball game):
"Chelsea should be able to regulate the players and the interviews they conduct. I believe before any player grants special interviews, he needs the approval form the club and proper sanctions should be meted out to irresponsible media outburst like this." -> WTF???? FY I won't say what you allow me to say.
If people (even within) have difficulties with the approach or their experience, why should this not being allowed to been said? In not really that far history we used a word for this and it sounds like Vastzits :-)
the writer is right because LUKAKU a waste
ReplyDeleteLukaku scored. Geldzie was not the best option for him, good for him to acknowledge that now. Other and better :-)
ReplyDeletelukaku can be a good striker for chelsea ===> later, he realy lost one year in chelsea, sign for chelsea was not bad, but he need to be loan last season to be ready now... don't blame him.... he's not a waste... just a young player who need time to progress and learn. just one mistake of lukaku ==>speaking at the f..g press
ReplyDeleteSorry for my bad english;)
