Moses set for Chelsea switch as Wigan finally compromise on £9m fee ~ The Mirror

Moses: On his way to Chelsea?..Well, The Mirror says so!

The Mirror has just published an article stating that Wigan have agreed a £9m fee with Chelsea over the transfer of Victor Moses and Dave Whelan would finally let him leave by the weekend.

This was what some parts of it said,

Victor Moses is on his way to Chelsea in a £9million deal after Wigan supremo Dave Whelan finally let him leave at the end of weeks of talks. The young Nigerian ­international will sort out personal terms and go through a medical as Whelan takes less than his original demand but accepts the player’s exit. Moses will leap at the chance of joining the double winners as he goes back to London where he cut his football teeth with Crystal Palace. In the end, Whelan relented because he told Moses he would let him go when the price was ­acceptable, and now boss Roberto Martinez will get a chunk of the cash to spend. Moses’ old club Palace are due a slice of the deal – up to a possible £2m.

It also said that Chelsea would hold make-or-break talks with Marseille over Cesar Azpilicueta by the weekend. 

Well, if anything is true then Victor Moses can be a really good squad player for Chelsea but not the best of strikers to have upfront when your rivals have the likes of Kun Aguero, Tevez, Balotelli & Dzeko all in one team. I would still have preferred Andre Schürrle or Cavani for this role. But just to remind you guys, nothing is official yet and all these rumours could very well be false. Its just something I saw over the internet and something I thought should be important for you guys to know.
