What to expect when Chelsea and Tottenham clash this season?

Oh Dear, this is going to be one of the most awaited and most anticipated match ever for us, because we will be facing our former manager none other than AVB, the in-charge of Tottenham. And leading the team of Chelsea is our legend RDM.

It gonna be AVB v/s RDM

Woooow………… Epic

Since we signed AVB from Porto as our manager, big things were expected from him by the great billionaire Roman Abramovich. But things didn’t turn out according to plan for AVB. He was being targeted by the media and none other than our own players by the likes of Lampard, Terry, Cole, etc. which eventually saw him lose his job after just nine months incharge after strings of poor results.
Due to this there was a divide in the Chelsea’s dressing room. And then came in the assistant manager RDM appointed by AVB, to rescue the situation. He was given the task to control the dressing room as well as to guide the team out of the mess. And so he did just that, as he sorted out the dressing room by winning the heart and trust of the players. Since then there was no looking back for RDM who managed the team to get in good results and well as gave Chelsea what they were waiting for many years, “The Holy Grail” which was most wanted by Chelsea mainly Roman Abramovich. This had to be the best day for him and all the Chelsea fans around the world.

Here’s what we can expect:

1.     Boo’s from the Chelsea fans
When AVB arrives at Stamford Bridge, he will be having lots of problems as our Chelsea fans won’t welcome him with a great reception. Chelsea fans can’t forget on how he treated Anelka and Alex. He won’t be forgiven by fans, as he had been under-performing which resulted in, Chelsea’s worst ever season under Roman’s era. So by then he’s fate was decided and the great Roman pushed the sack button and his tenure at Chelsea was over. He is a good coach but he came a little too soon to a club like Chelsea, as a result he failed or wasn’t given enough time to prove his worth.

2.     Tottenham will attack
AVB is well known for his attacking style of play and this guy doesn’t believe much in defending as he said that attack is the best way of defending. But to his disgrace this plan didn’t work with Chelsea as we were lacking a creative midfielder (like Modric, who we attempted to sign but failed) who could just cut open other defenses. So expect him to bring the same style with Tottenham and if he’s able to keep hold of Modric and sign another great midfielder then they’ll be a force to be reckoned with. He loves playing the 4-3-3 formation which he had done at Porto and won so many trophies in his only season at Porto.

3.     Chelsea will defend and counter-attack
RDM is the man on a mission. After guiding Chelsea to UCL triumph, greater things will be expected from him. After the signing of Eden Hazard and Marko Marin, Chelsea has increased its midfield strength to some extent and a couple of more signing will do the job for us. RDM is mainly known for his defensive style of play by obtaining the 4-2-3-1 formation, which he ideally loves working on. And AVB will be aware of that since he has worked with him for 9 months. Chelsea have been very good on the counter-attack under RDM which saw them defeat the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

4.     RDM will be the happy man on both occasions
It goes a little tricky here as RDM will have an idea on how will AVB would approach this game. So expect Tottenham to attack us mean while Chelsea will hit them on the break, tearing down their defense to score goals. So now its RDM job to get Chelsea firing all cylinders and mainly help Torres in obtaining his scoring boots while on mission. Once his is done then there’s no looking back at all. AVB would be left wounded on both occasions. Chelsea conceded a lot of goals in AVB era due to the high-defensive line set by him. Expect that to change this season with RDM incharge.

I will gone for the following score line
Chelsea 2 – 0 Tottenham             (Home)
Tottenham 1 – 2 Chelsea             (Away)

5.     AVB will be left dancing with frustration near the touch-line
RDM tactics will be spot on in this fixture, without a doubt. I’m just predicting that Eden Hazard would be the star in this match (so better watch out Tottenham). Much to the frustration AVB will be licking the wounds inflicted on him by Chelsea. AVB would be fun to watch when he dances in frustration near the touchline shouting out instructions, much to the delight of Chelsea fans enjoying the show.

What's your thoughts on this ..???

  1. Loads of other potentially interesting things-the possible Bale vs Maicon duel, the handshake between RDM and AVB and what might happen there, as well as a possible handshake (or not!) between Lampard and AVB. Also, question marks over which of the teams Sturridge, Meireles, Modric and Walker will be playing for. Scott Parker playing against his old club, Marko Marin and Eden Hazard, who both snubbed Spurs, playing for Chelsea. Spurs will want revenge for the 5-1 at Wembley. Strong rumours that Bosingwa may join Spurs, his duels with Mata and Hazard would be exciting/fun to watch/one-sided. Should be a great game for so many reasons.

    1. I see no problem during the handshakes, this will be just fine. Duel between Maicon and Bale remains to be seen (as Maicon is not on our roster yet), so can't really start speaking about it at this moment of time.
