BREAKING NEWS: Wigan accept Chelsea's "5th" bid for Victor Moses

Finally on his was: Victor Moses
Wigan have finally accepted Chelsea's fifth bid for Victor Moses. The fee is believed to be around £9m.

This was the official statement on Wigan's official website,
"The club can confirm that after four unsuccessful bids from Chelsea for Victor Moses, a fifth bid has today finally met the valuation and terms set by Wigan Athletic and been accepted. The player has been given permission to speak with Chelsea."
Moses has now been given the permission to speak to Chelsea FC and the deal is expected to go throught by the weekend.

The 21-year-old played the full 90 minutes against his potential new club last weekend but failed to get on the score sheet as Di Matteo's men were 2-0 victors.

Victor Moses would surely add alot to our wings and attacking force and would give Di Matteo more options. It is pretty clear that Chelsea would also be looking to complete a center forward's signing pretty soon.

But now with this signing alot of questions have come up. Does with mean that Chelsea would end their Hulk persuit? After this is Sturridge expected to be Torres' back up?

Do let us know what you think and more is on its way!

KTBFFH!

  1. Hulk is history now because of his price tag i would prefer falcao or cavani after the signing of moses. Our defence should be looked at because it seems we conceed a lot of easy goal. The earlier we checked this the better 4us i guess so.

  2. Yeah I think it could be the end of Hulk. VM was a key player at Wigan so he would be OK at Chelsea. Sturidge did not just lose his place to Rami becuz he wanted to play CF but also becuz he didn't have a good work rate when coming backwards. It was obvious in Readings game that Danny was an attacking upgrade to Rami and I think VM would also be cuz he's even more skillful. This would allow Torres to be getting sum rest while Danny could be starting at his preferred role. Hopefully with the confidence and composure Danny showed in the last game, he would definitely continue scoring.

  3. For a long time,i have thought that the Hulk talks failed.I have always admired Moses and hope he will play well at our wing.I also think that Sturg23 will get his preferedCF role but,we also need to add a prominent CF.

  4. Well we already have two class of strikers at the bridge. We have one of the most expensive strikers in the world. We also have a promising striker on loan that can be brought-in in January if need be. We r OK.

  5. Victor Moses coming to Cfc I'm so convinced that the squad will be unbeatable this season with the likes of Eden Hazard.I don't think going for hulk wit that huge amount is advisable,we could just go for Edison cavani, think he worths it. Let Elnino be rested while Sturridge is tested in CF that him and his father had always craved for.. I$ so much hopeful and convinced this season is Cfc's season.I love blues more than my meals

  6. I dunno if its just me. I have to come back to this website at least 10times a day hoping I'd get a breaking news that Ceasar/Victor Moses/Hulk?Cavani has been signed. I really do hope we pass our first test of the season on Saturday against The Magpies, they're unbeaten in their last 3 defeats to the bridge. Its the way we handle teams like these that would determine how far we would go in the league this season. Cavani would be good for us too. I look forward that the Ceasar, Moses and Cavani deal be wrapped up soonest! My blood is, and will always be blue!

  10. Betrand is a very good left full back. If he were not in chelsea, we would be considering buying him now. And Sturridge could further develop into a goal machine. We don't need more than 2 Strikers which was proven last season and Lukaku could still be a Drogba.
