Chelsea Sign Wallace

Another Brazilian at Chelsea, but who exactly is he?

Chelsea have signed this young Brazilian from Fluminense. Wallace Oliveira dos Santos, born May 1, 1994 (18 years old).  He will remain with the Brazilian club for the rest of season. 


Wallace is not very tall, only 5 ft 7 in and is a right back by trade but can play on either wing. He has played for Brazil at under-17  alongside Lucas Piazon and is now part of the under-20 team. He has managed 18 appearances for his club and even managed to score once (correct as of November 7th 2012).

He will become the fifth Brazilian to join our growing contingent of the Seleção at Chelsea after Ramires, David Luiz, Piazon and Oscar. These players should help him settle down well in London whenhe joins us.
