| October-November : Two crucial months. |
So far, the only big teams we've faced have been Arsenal and Juventus. We looked good against them but there are tougher challenges ahead. Teams like Wigan, Stoke, Norwich, Reading, etc. can't really show the full caliber that our team possess. No doubt, every game these days is a big game, but this makes the actual big games even tougher. The results and performances so far have been satisfactory, but tougher times lie ahead. We cannot afford to slip up at this stage, because this stage is very crucial in the fight for the title. An exciting start is what Chelsea have always been getting, but in recent seasons, we have seen slip-up's at this point of the season.
If we manage to come out of this round of fixtures unscathed, still on top and without facing any big losses, then we can safely say Chelsea are the top contenders for the title this season and were not giving any false signals about that early on. This grueling round will also test our squad depth and the ability of our new signings to perform in big games, under pressure. It will also be the route-drawer for Roberto Di Matteo, to know what kind of signings in what positions he has to make, this January to make this team better.
It will also be a major test of Roberto Di Matteo's tactical awareness and his ability to use the squad properly, and effectively. Will we still be top of the league after these two months or will we slip up? It's just a matter of wait-and-watch, for now.

Facing tottenham will be a triple threat this weekend. The first big test coming back from an international break, the bragging rights of the capital and last but not least is the AVB factor. Tottenham have been gaining confience and this game will be an important one, the psychological imnpact will be crucial for the games that follow.
#2 the man utd double header.
We have to take advantage of SAF's tendency of playing with youth during the league cup. Our youth can run circles around them. The league encounter is the best chance to cement ourselves as contenders.
#3 shaktar and juve away
We need to grab some points on these days, no one wants us to be playin europa. We could possibly defend our title with this team!
RDM, I have faith! This could be the best team for now and the future, let's do this!
Tough schedule but i know we will excel at the end of the race.
ReplyDeleteTough month but i know the blues will overcome it starting saturday by beating spurs and sharkar,then unlishing our young players the likes of Piazon,Ceasar,Moses,Oscar,Bertrand,Chalobah and the rest on Man U in the L cup to show SAF the depth of our youth team then after that we match Man U with our main team in the Epl.Win these matches the rest will just flow. Testing one two lol I just can't wait no more boring internationals,two games a week from now on.... Huge couple of weeks coming up shaktur and manU.....feel confident with RDM...how good is he- he's fantastic...
